The location of the cottage was convenient for exploring the town and there was plenty of information provided about the surrounding areas.
There were a few negatives to our stay. the parking was quite a trek from the cottage, down a steep slope and dimly lit steps.

The steep path leading into town, which made it a bit challenging to carry our luggage from the car park, especially in the rain. the taps in the kitchen were quite stiff, making it a bit difficult to use.

Balcony with Stunning Views: I couldn't tear myself away from the breathtaking view from the balcony at Tweed Cottage. It was like being in a postcard, with rolling hills and picturesque countryside stretching out before me. Just sitting there, sipping my morning coffee, felt like being in a scene from a fairytale.
Steep Hill Climb: The only downside was the steep hill leading up to the cottage. While the location was beautiful, it did come with a bit of a workout.

Tweed Cottage, a cozy hideaway with a charming balcony, fulfilled my dreams of feeling like a character from a Jane Austen novel. The garden was delightful and perfect for leisurely strolls.
Oh, those inconvenient airport distances! Because I simply adored having to travel 48 km to Berwick-Upon-Tweed for some peace and quiet.
